Peer Review Files & Install Guide
I have made a new set of files, 3D printing files that is. They include a full Peer Review model (two links, one for the stl HERE and one for the OBJ file HERE) and a zip file of the various parts. Note I purchased things to use in these files including Bearings from Amazon and a spring kit for the tensioner action from Amazon. Additionally I bought some Kevlar Cord from Amazon
- Arms should be 80% infil with 4 walls, base should be 15% infil with 4 walls, the Mounting Pieces should be 100% infil with 4 walls, the Pinions should be 80% infil with 4 walls.
- All in all there should be 4 upper/large racks, 4 lower/small racks, 16 covers for the bearings, 8 upper and 8 lower mount pieces, 12 large pinions and 12 small pinions.
The following images will show the proper installation of the parts.
- The Pinions are way too thick compared to what they could be as the image notes. We could save 200 total space just in reducing the size and using a metal pinion and drum. .
- The new efficiency rating would be 2.519337 : 1 which exceeds a 2:1 ratio by a fair margin. This is proof that The Harrington Expansion Mitigation System works.
